Alyssa Medina

Lead Vocalist

Alyssa Medina is a Colorado-based vocalist and the heart & soul of Rio Rosa. With a voice that soars with gospel power, she has the ability to command a room and connect with every listener. Alyssa’s soulful voice and vibe has taken her all over the world and to stages such as Red Rocks Amphitheater - making each time she steps on stage memorable.

Max Mackey

Lead Guitar & Vocals

Max Mackey is a Fort Collins based guitarist, singer and songwriter whose guitar-work balances fiery leads with soulful restraint. As a member of Peak2Peak, Colorado’s premier Grateful Dead outfit, Max has built a reputation as a versatile and emotive player with deep love for improvisation. Whether he arrives at the venue by motorcycle or Volkswagen van - Max shows up and always delivers the fans the goods.

Paul Constantine

Hammond B3, Keyboards & Vocals

Paul is the band’s anchor on Hammond B3 organ and keyboards - weaving together gospel, melody & gritty textures that define Rio Rosa’s signature sound. A veteran of Colorado’s jam & roots scene, Paul has toured the world with jam bands, honky tonk groups, hip hop artists and everything in-between. With an ear for soul and limitless energy, he keeps the good vibes rolling and the soul flowing.

Paul ‘Poz’ Cohen

Bass & Tenor Saxophone

Dr. Poz is equal parts groove & glue. A practicing anesthesiologist by day and bassist by night, Poz brings precision, creativity and deep pocket to every Rio Rosa trip down the river. A veteran of the Colorado music scene, Dr Poz musicianship & steady grooves hold the band together while also soaring over the top with incredible tenor saxophone soul.

Shaun Gilmour

Drums, Percussion & Vocals

Shaun Gilmour drives Rio Rosa with rhythmic style steeped in New Orleans groove and rock n’ roll fire. His drumming balances finesse with power, creating a dynamic engine that fuels Rio Rosa through heartfelt, latin-inspired grooves & fiery, swampy jams. Shaun as a nationally touring drummer & Colorado music veteran who always delivers the deepest grooves to keep the party going and dance floor full.
